The introduction to the radio shows states: \"Ottarsdottir\u2019s 2000 study was the first comprehensive research project that systematically compared the impact of drawing and writing on memory functions. In short, the results showed that nine weeks later, the children generally remembered five times more drawings than words they had written. This is called memory drawing. This May, Unnur taught a seminar in Italy for art therapists working in schools The topics that were on the agenda were, for example, memory drawing, writing-images, the importance of artistic expression in education, and she was also invited to deliver a lecture in Italy.
